Photobooth fun at Transportation Camp
Besides being a photographer, I do a fair amount of work as a transit and walkability advocate in the DC area. In January, I gathered with hundreds of my peers at DC's Transportation Camp 2014, an "unconference" with no preset agenda -- you arrive early, and pitch what sessions you want to have throughout the day.
My friend Meghan was in town for the conference, and together we held a transportation photobooth! Her transit agency at home, Triangle Transit, has done some great public outreach with a photobooth, so we used their work as a case study - and threw in a real-live photobooth for good measure!
Since we were travelling light, we didn't bring lights or a true photobooth setup, but even with just a few props and my 6D shooting in fluorescent classroom light, people were really excited and we got some fun photos!
