After over a decade in the wedding industry, I’ve developed a virtual rolodex of vendors who I have worked alongside and observed first-hand have what it takes to create a flawless wedding day.
Vendors enter and exit this list from time to time as we make new connections and observe their work. We do not accept referral fees or listing trades from any vendor. If you’d like more context on any of these vendors, or would like to connect with a past client who hired them, please ask.

Planning and Coordination
Planners and coordinators are invaluable, especially to the quality of your wedding photography.
Planners are experts at bringing to life the look and feel of an event. The best planners help crystalize your vision for the event, then use their deep relationship to bring together a full vendor team that will bring your priorities to life. They know the ins and outs of what makes for an extraordinary guest experience, and will orchestrate your wedding weekend so that you can focus on each other and your loved ones during the celebration.
Coordinators are typically focused on the final 30 days of your wedding, executing on the details and plan you provide to them.

Hair and makeup artists
When it comes to hair and makeup artists, we’ve come to look for three elements, regardless of an artist’s style:
Makeup and hairstyles that photograph well, and stand up to the rigors of a wedding day
Clean makeup kits and rigorous hygiene standards
A deep understanding of wedding day timelines, and a commitment to planning and providing for services that are finished on-time, so as not to set the wedding day behind schedule.

Officiants
While many couples entrust their marriage ceremony to a friend, parent, or other loved one, others seek a civil or religious celebrant. We’ve been impressed by these thoughtful, loving, and otherwise delightful celebrants of many faiths (and no faith) over the years.

Cinematography
When our in-house video team isn’t available to provide cinematography for an event, we recommend these talented videographers to our clients—in addition to being skilled artists, their teams are highly professional and great at collaboration with the photography team.
Makeup artistry by Allison Fax
Music
We’ve worked with some of the best talent and kindest musicians on the east coast. Many live bands are booked through talent agencies, as well as some DJs. Other bands and DJs, as well as chamber musicians who play acoustic music for ceremonies and cocktail hours, book independently of a talent agency. Our couples don’t report a significant difference in experience between the two approaches.
