Our small team of DC and Northern Virginia wedding photographers have honed our skill at reading the room and providing what each moment calls for—unflagging patience, gentle encouragement, or fading into the background to let a moment unfold—to keep you calm, collected, and on-schedule.

We photograph for our couples and their families first, not for our portfolios. This is your chance to dance with your dad. To spend a day with your best man who flew in from London. To delight in your flower girl’s glee. Wedding days are a one shot deal—which is why we place people and moments at the center of our photography.

We want you to feel empowered to celebrate your day in whatever way is right for you. For some people, that’s unconventional, while for others it’s extremely traditional. Regardless of where you fall on that spectrum, we’ll make sure you have room to let your guard down, so your day feels like it was spent with your favorite people—not stuck in front of a camera.

In addition to locking in the memories of your people and moments, we’ll turn our loving attention to the details you that indulgently made the day your own—whether that’s your rainbow floral arch (been there), custom-bottled whiskey favors (done that), or sequined tuxedo (got the t-shirt).

How our teamwork makes your dream work
Photographing weddings is a responsibility we take incredibly seriously, and none of us care to take it on alone.
United by Aimee’s vision and direction, our team shares a philosophy, shooting style, and approach. But we’re also made stronger by our individual experiences and perspectives.
You choose who among our lead photographers you want to have at your side on your wedding day. Ask for one of us specifically, or we’ll happily make a recommendation if you need help deciding.
Before booking, you’ll meet with your choice of photographer to ensure it’s a good fit. Ask as many questions as you’d like, and we’ll get to know you, too! Whomever you choose, they’ll work hand-in-glove with Aimee to deliver expertise tailored to your needs—with Aimee at the helm before and after the wedding day to ensure a perfect experience.
When your wedding day has ended, your lead photographer will hand off your photos to Aimee—who will edit in our richly colorful signature style, deliver your gallery, and design your album.
